Now

I am a husband and father to four beautiful children. We live in Kalispell, MT, where we chose to raise our family. They are first and foremost my ministry. I enjoy assisting in their education, coaching their sports teams, and nerding out with them on the things they enjoy. I also have my pilot’s license and love sharing my passion for aviation with others.

About Jerad

I started my first business when I was 19, and I haven’t looked back since. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve built web development agencies, hosted popular YouTube channels, launched online courses, and started a managed WordPress hosting company.

But the work I’m most proud of happens at home. I’m a husband and father to four beautiful children. We live in Kalispell, Montana, where my wife and I chose to raise our family. They are my true startup and my deepest passion. I enjoy assisting in their homeschooling, coaching their sports teams, and nerding out with them on the things they love.

I also have my pilot’s license and love sharing my passion for aviation with others. Life is meant to be lived intentionally, and I try to bring that mindset to everything I do.

February 2026 Update

I’m in a season of focus. After 25 years of self-employment spread across a lot of things, I’m narrowing in on what matters most right now and trying to be faithful with it.

The big push is growing Site Nitro, my managed WordPress service. I’m building cold outreach systems with Instantly.ai and shifting from manual prospecting to outreach at scale. Alongside that, I’m redesigning this website, writing at Field Notes on Substack, and continuing to create content on my two YouTube channels — tech and photography.

What I’m working on:

  • Growing Site Nitro
  • Sustaining Hill Media Group
  • Writing Field Notes on Substack
  • YouTube: intentional tech use + photography education
  • Teaching photography courses
  • Shifting from goal-based to identity-based motivation and developing “The Stewardship Stack”
