I don’t trust hard drives any farther then I can throw them. I’m pretty sure I could throw one a good distance but still the question is not will it fail, it’s when. Hard drives fail. I have had them fail just on reboot after a successful shutdown. All it takes is any unexplainable situation to mess up the boot record or one of the sectors that allows it to initialize and be recognized. I just had such a thing happen. With all of the new innovations in advertising most using computers they will now be introducing typical computer tech issues as well. For those who are familiar with the BSOD and happened to see this actually happen, the money spent advertising who knows what is now effectively advertising Mac!
