Individual visitor tracking from organic Google search results.

The Google tracking system records every visit from organic Google search engine results pages (SERPs). We record the initial visit, including all page views and the originating search phrase.

With this data, we are able to effectively monitor which pages are hit the most from Google, which phrases perform best, and - most importantly - which pages and phrases "stick." Because of the long tail of search, the most fruitful search results often come from the longer, more unique search phrases which land on a site’s deeper, content-rich pages. Analyzing long tail search data is difficult because these phrase hits are often buried deep within standard website traffic reports. The abundance of “long tail” visits also makes analyzing organic search results difficult.

However, since we record all data from Google visits, we can aggregate the long tail, and show which pages (and which phrase hits) have the most activity and which are most effective at leading visitors into longer, multiple page sessions.

To complement the analysis reports of our Google tracking system, we also provide a site-based view. The Google tracker installed on your site is sent information for each page and displays the number of sessions that have resulted from organic Google search results. Clicking through displays the actual phrases used in Google searches.
